What happens here
Several ways to experience the farm
Atlanta Alpaca Treehouse combines a rescue property, bookable animal visits, overnight accommodations and private-event space.
Farm experience
Meet the camelids
A hosted visit introduces the alpacas, llamas and guanacos, their rescue stories and the bamboo forest.
Farm stay
Sleep on the property
The original treehouse and two cottages provide three distinct overnight options.
Scheduled programming
Attend an event
The calendar may include llama yoga, wine events, retreats and private gatherings.
The rescue property
Three and a half acres inside Atlanta
The farm spans three neighboring properties and includes animal areas, gardens, an apiary, lodging and an established bamboo forest. It began with rescued chickens before expanding to alpacas and llamas.
Some camelids arrived with matted fiber, overgrown toenails, parasites or a fear of people. Their recovery has involved veterinary care, shearing, hoof and dental work, careful handling and time within a stable herd.
Meet the residents
More than an alpaca herd
The animals have different histories and comfort levels, so every interaction is directed by the hosts.
Suri alpacas
Long-locked alpacas that include senior and special-needs residents.
Rescue llamas
Individual farm biographies include Figgy, Dali, Campari and Llyra.
Guanacos
Zora and Rio are wild South American relatives of domesticated llamas.
Smaller animals
Chickens, rabbits, dogs and cats are also part of the property.
The animal experience
What a scheduled visit may include
Booking matters: tour dates, age rules, weather arrangements and ticket policies can change. A farm-experience ticket does not include lodging.
Stay at the farm
Three accommodations, three different setups
Capacity, bathrooms, animal access and house rules differ, so guests should read the listing for the exact property they plan to reserve.
Original property · Sleeps two
Alpaca Treehouse
An elevated, climate-controlled stay built with reclaimed wood, stained glass and salvaged architectural pieces. It has a queen sleeping loft; the private full bathroom is reached by a short outdoor path.
The current listing says the treehouse is not suitable for children twelve or younger.
Four bedrooms
Llama Stay Farm Cottage
A restored mid-century home within the working farm property, with two and a half bathrooms and animals sometimes visible in the yard.
Three bedrooms
Luxury Llama Cottage
A brick cottage facing the llama and alpaca habitat, with animal interaction limited to the property's stated boundaries.
Bamboo Barn
Events and private use
The climate-controlled barn uses reclaimed beams, old brick, mixed-species wood flooring, salvaged church glass and antique doors. The farm publishes seating for more than fifty people at tables.
Private bookings require separate arrangements. Confirm capacity, insurance, lodging use and access to animal areas directly with the farm.
