Allow time to park, check in and collect a tube. Late arrival does not necessarily extend a timed session.

Pennsylvania tubing hills include dedicated winter parks, county slopes and resort runs. The 16 places below have a published tubing offering, though most have not yet posted their full 2026–27 season calendar.
As of September 2026, the hills are off-season. Check the operator’s page for confirmed opening dates, snow conditions, a timed ticket and any rider age or height minimum before promising a trip. Nemacolin’s tubing access is restricted to overnight guests and all-access members.
Popular sessions can sell out. Ski lift access usually does not include tubing.
Rules for children, double tubes and waivers differ between hills.
Snow and temperature can change lane availability at short notice.

Before the first run
Allow time to park, check in and collect a tube. Late arrival does not necessarily extend a timed session.
Start only when staff direct you to go; each hill sets its own rules for grouping tubes and riding with children.
Waterproof gloves, warm boots and dry outerwear help when you are sitting on snow between runs.
More days outdoors
Snow tubing fits into a winter afternoon, especially when a hill sells short sessions. On a day you want to spend more time meeting animals, explore alpaca farms with visitor experiences. Ask each host about winter hours and reservations, since farm visits may be limited by weather.
Changing seasons open up other reasons to get outside. Browse family farm activities for an outing that suits the time you have, whether you want an animal visit or a seasonal farm event. Checking hours before the drive is especially useful in winter.
If you’re planning a longer drive, look through alpaca farms across the states for a stop along the way. A guided visit can give your family a change of pace after a busy day on the slopes.
