Four Acres Living is a Frankford alpaca breeding and fiber farm that maintains a herd of more than 40 alpacas. The farm selects for genetics that produce soft, abundant, wearable fleece, then uses its animals' fiber in clothing, yarn, accessories, and other products; it also sells alpacas and provides mentoring to new owners.
The farm combines its livestock work with regular public activities. Visitors can take guided farm tours and alpaca walks, shop the farm store during posted hours, and attend recurring events such as alpaca yoga, fiber demonstrations, and the annual Alpaca Festival.
-
Nash Hill Alpacas is a Dover alpaca farm operated by Frank Nash and Rose Principato. The farm keeps alpacas and shares their fiber with the public through its gift shop and online store, where the product selection includes yarn, socks, hats, gloves, purses, dryer balls, and handmade goods.
The farm holds an annual open house where visitors can pet and feed alpacas, take photos, learn about fleece, and visit the gift shop. The reviewed website does not clearly advertise routine tours, breeding services, weddings, or private event rentals outside of that open-house programming.
-
New Groove Alpacas is a small Middletown farm owned by Bonnie Bieber that raises both Huacaya and Suri alpacas. It has an active breeding and sales program with proven herdsires, and it combines alpaca ownership with a historic farm property that is used for guided visits, educational groups, photo shoots, trekking, yoga, and event rentals.
Visits are by appointment and can be self-guided or educational tours with pasture access and a fleece talk. The farm also rents alpacas for birthdays, weddings, and local business events, and its on-site store sells yarn from its own fleece, raw fiber, socks, hand-knit items, handmade soaps, and other alpaca-fiber goods.
